Thank you for scheduling!
We can't wait to help guide you with grace into Medicare! In addition to booking your workshop, we invite you to join our new private community for further support, guidance and encouragement!
If you’re still working when you turn 65, it is essential to determine how your current health insurance and Medicare will coordinate. For example, depending on the size of your employer, Medicare may become your primary insurer, and your work insurance is considered secondary.*
Originial Medicare is a government health insurance program for people over the age of 65 and some younger individuals with disabilities who meet certain criteria, while Medicare Advantage is health insurance designed for people over the age of 65, but it’s offered by private health insurance companies. *
It can be very difficult and time-consuming to compare all of the plans that are available. But choosing a Medicare plan is too important to leave to guesswork. Take the time to review your health insurance needs before the first—and subsequent—enrollment periods.**
Common Questions
Definitely yourself, a friend/spouse, and something to write on such as a notebook or your favorite tablet.
Yes, but keep in mind depending upon how many attendees are present we will be keeping questions to a minimum. But you will have an opportunity to connect with us should you have any unanswered questions.
Everyone is free to make their own choices on how they navigate their Medicare journey. We recommend that you build a relationship with a Medicare agent whom you can get to know and trust. Medicare can be like a jigsaw puzzle. If you put the wrong piece in place or don't have all of the correct pieces, mistakes could be made that could affect your financial and medical well-being.
We encourage Medicaid beneficiaries to attend these educational workshops. Medicare Parts A, B, and some Part C & D plans are made available to those who meet certain factors such as income, age and family size. Each state has its own specific eligibility rules, so it's important to check the requirements for your state.
